Her service, care, and commitment have touched countless lives and helped strengthen generations of Eastside families.

Learn How to Protect Yourself This Summer☀️

Eastside Community Network is committed to being a Resilience Hub for the Eastside Community.

Follow their step-by-step guide from our environmental health & Wellness team to prepare for the heat and to keep your family, home, and loved ones safe going into the humid season. This lists best practices for all things such as heat exhaustion, prolonged sun exposure, and flood risks.

We are committed to staying a resource for relief in this extreme weather.

To divine freedom is to seek it, sense it, and draw it up — from the stories our elders carry, the history Detroit holds, and the future we’re building together.

Join Eastside Community Network for a day filled with community storytelling, youth activities, meaningful conversations, and delicious home-style meal.

This event will also include a special ribbon-cutting ceremony dedication for loved community member Willie Mae Gaskins, as well as an inspiring author talk from our President & CEO Donna Givens Davidson about her recent novel Divining Freedom..
