We will be using grant funds to purchase diverse and inclusive children’s books for Brilliant Detroit to distribute throughout their network of community homes. It’s shopping for a great cause! Please join us to meet Damien Kructher on Friday, August 25 at our club meeting. He is a musician at the DSO and has started a program called “Crescendo Detroit” which aims to bring music to students in Detroit!

Today's speaker was Okafor Ebenezar Jasper, a Mandela Fellow attending a 6-week program at Wayne State. He shared his personal and professional experiences from Nigeria and we enjoyed learning about him, his life, and his Detroit experiences!
