We’re Hiring: Assistant Professor of Teaching
Video Production & Digital Content Creation
The Department of Communication at Wayne State University is seeking a full-time, non-tenure-track faculty member for a two-year appointment beginning August 18, 2026.
We’re looking for an industry-experienced video producer and storyteller to teach and mentor students in digital media, multimedia production, and brand storytelling. The role includes teaching up to four courses per semester in areas such as video production, editing, and content creation, while supporting curriculum development and student success.
🎓 Qualifications:
• MFA or PhD in a related field
• Professional video production experience
• Proficiency with industry-standard tools
• Strong teaching ability and portfolio
