Culturally Relevant Pedagogy. The Crispy Candidate.
This design is for the students. Our young people. I received so much joy talking to the children about what they wanted to see in schools and passing out candy.

The race for a seat at the school board table is a city-wide race. I have crossed the 26.2 square miles of Detroit countless times over the last quarter.
Yesterday, I had the pleasure to stop by Morningside Cafe and meet with a few neighbors. I am grateful for the opportunity to dialogue about schools and the impact of closures on neighborhoods. We must build community solutions that consider transportation and neighborhood trends. Thanks for the ideas and support, Morningside!
See you soon.
