Happy Tuesday everyone! Save the date for next week tuesday's National HIV Testing day event that will be taking place right in Midtown from 11am to 4pm! The event is free and offering some really great health screenings! There will be food, raffles, giveaways and a whole bunch of fun! Today is Ferndale Pride! First stop for the Southeast Michigan 2026 Pride season. Festivities start at 12:30!

Even before the first pride, LGBTQ+ communities of color have been fighting for equal access to healthcare, housing, and essential rights. What started as a riot has continued on to advocate for equitable access and positive futures for LGBTQ+ people across the country and across the world.

In collaboration with the young people we serve, we honor Pride by uplifting equity, safety, and prevention through a harm-reductive view. The struggle for LGBTQ+ people of color to be sexually liberated also comes with increased prevention methods to meet the unique needs of our communities.

Our campaign honors Black LGBTQ+ liberation, freedom to protect our bodies, HIV prevention, and the resilience of young people across Detroit.

Yesterday was an amazing start to the Pull Up Project Kick Off at Palmer Park!!! It was so great to see the community come out for the many resources and fun! Thank you

So we have a PrEP navigation incentive program that is happening until the end of September. Come get tested with us and we will set a PrEP appointment with a provider that is near you. Once we have confirmed you attended your 1st appointment (We will email you a $40 gift card). For your 2nd & 3rd appointments (We email a $25 gift card for each visit)...If you need transportation (We book cabs from your home to your appointment and back home). If you drive (We will provide you with a $20 gas gift card) or provide bus tickets for clients. This will not last long and another way that W'SUP is looking out for people to eliminate barriers with getting on PrEP. Tell your family and friends!
