The Great Detroit Bird Off is an enjoyable contest where participants help determine which of Detroit’s four biggest parks can boast the highest number of bird species spotted during May, the prime time for migration. Birdwatchers log their sightings using eBird, a free application. Everyone is welcome to join! You can visit all four parks as often as you like or focus on your preferred spot.
