Yesterday, our Maternal Child Health Team, in partnership with the Detroit Police Department, hosted a car seat safety training for Detroit families. Attendees left with brand new car seats, learned how to properly install and use car seats, received hands-on guidance from certified technicians, and gained valuable information to help keep their children safe while traveling.
