Knowing the Signs of Stroke May is stroke awareness month, a critical reminder that a stroke can happen to anyone at any age. We talk with Nurse Knuckles about the warning signs you need to know.

In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, Lambda Chi Chapter member and Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Dr. Umeika Griffith Stephens, DNP, PMHNP-BC, FNP-BC, discussed the growing awareness around mental health care, the importance of reducing stigma and why access to trained professionals remains critical.

As public conversations around mental health continue to expand, Dr. Stephens emphasized that more people are recognizing they are not alone and are taking important steps toward seeking support.
