The Southwest Detroit Community Justice Center (SWDCJC) provides a neighborhood-based justice model to revolutionize how the community addresses crime and its repercussions. SWDCJC delivers restorative justice programming that goes beyond punitive measures, concentrating on addressing the underlying social needs of participants. Acknowledging the complex challenges individuals in the justice system face, SWDCJC provides various programs and services, including Community Court, Prostitution Offenders Program (POP), Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion (LEAD) program, and the newly implemented Detroit Youth Grow - Violence Prevention Program. Through its devotion to community engagement and innovative strategies, SWDCJC is a transformative force in Detroit, fostering stakeholder collaboration and contributing to a more inclusive and prosperous future for all residents. We are making a difference in the lives of individuals experiencing hardships and challenging times.
