In our hundreds, in our millions we are all Palestinian! 🇵🇸

Palestine showed the world the true nature of U.S. imperialism and has brought millions of people into the streets. This movement made Palestine unavoidable!

The political consciousness created by this movement in Detroit and across the country cannot be undone. Palestine has irrevocably transformed global politics — and this is only the beginning.

DETROIT STAND WITH THE WOMEN FIGHTING INSIDE HURON VALLEY PRISON!

All across the city the community is bringing attention to the inhumane and deadly conditions inside Womens Huron Valley that Director Heidi Washington and the MI Department of corrections have allowed to take the lives of Jennifer Wallace, Khaira Howerd, Rebecca Fackler, Ashley Hoath, Dalephenia Jones, and Daisy Forbes. Despite these conditions these women are still fighting every day for their liberation, and we must continue to fight alongside them!

Join the fight today! Sign the petition at bit.ly/shutdownwhv or through the link in our bio. It’s up to us to make this a movement that can’t be ignored!

The Party for Socialism and Liberation is honored to have struggled alongside Curtis Renee. We send our love and condolences to their family and all the lives they’ve touched—this is an unimaginable loss felt across Detroit and beyond.

May we all carry forward their love, commitment, revolutionary optimism, and fighting spirit.

We had a wonderful luncheon and community discussion this weekend, thanks to everyone who came out!

In the tradition of Black August we looked to the writings of Black women political prisoners and how their struggles are still ongoing today with the crisis at Women’s Huron Valley Prison. Black August is a time to commit ourselves to the legacy of fighting for Black liberation and it is up to all of us to build a movement powerful enough it can’t be ignored!

Sign the petition through the link in our bio, share with friends and family, and lets shut Women’s Huron Valley down!

Join the Detroit study hub for our Summer School for Socialism! This course hosted by The People’s Forum will bring together
organizers, activists, and anyone committed to building a better future to delve into the question: What kind of society could we build if working people held the power?

We are taking the course here in Detroit and wanted to have a chance to meet up with others in our area to discuss and engage with the curriculum. The Detroit study hub will take place at 4800 Woodward Ave, providing a space for participants in the local area to gather and discuss the course together over its 5 week run from 7/21 to 8/20. We will hold screenings of each class on Tues and Thurs from 6:30PM - 8:30PM.

If you plan to join us in-person at the study hub, register at the link in bio. If you can’t make it in-person but still want to participate in the course virtually, be sure to register through The People’s Forum!

“We only exist because of the community and our community is under attack. The least we can do is shut down for a day in solidarity.” - Jared

The people are not allowing Trump and the billionaires to have the final word. We are speaking with one voice and saying no more illegal wars, no more ICE, no more police violence. We need to defeat the attacks from the Trump administration, but we can’t just go back to the status quo either. So we must take to the streets and let it be known that we have the power to turn this system inside out in our favor. We need to fight right now in massive numbers and with total determination.
