As spring warms things up, the restrooms around Belle Isle are starting to reopen. Restrooms at Sunset Point, Kids Row, Stone Restroom, Beach house, and Woodside are back open.

Our next Volunteer Stewardship Workday is coming up on Saturday, May 2nd. Let's work together to remove the only large invasive garlic mustard patch on Belle Isle! We will walk Blue Heron Point together to pull and bag garlic mustard north of the lighthouse.

Today is a big day on Belle Isle as the historic casino officially reopens to the public for the first time since 2023 after major roof, interior, and infrastructure renovations.
As part of 313 Day, the celebration continues all day across the island with free activities, art, music, and community programming.
