Dillon Public Library will not be able to accept donations of books at this time. We appreciate and thank all of those who have contributed over the years. But the number of donations has become overwhelming and we lack the space to store any more items. If you have single books that are less than 5 years since publication, books that might complete a series we have, or books that are relevant to area, we would love to discuss them. But please, no more boxes, tubs, or bags of books are to be donated at this time.
We suggest asking Goodwill, BSW, the prison, nursing homes, doctor offices, and even other libraries if they need books.

We love our community for it's generosity

For decades, the Lussy family has cared for the historic Washoe Theatre in downtown Anaconda, a nearly 1,000-seat art deco palace that shows new movies nightly.

What a Great 9-2-5 Dolly Parton Pie Sale! So many delicious pies donated and so many sold! We loved people stopping and buying whole pies. And we loved having people sit down and have pie with coffee and visiting with each other. So many choices of pie and very impressed with our community's bakers skills! Jalapeño apple pie, Dolly's walnut pie, carrot pecan, pineapple pie, buttermilk, pecan, pumpkin, currant rhubarb, raspberry rhubarb, blueberry rhubarb, peanut butter pretzel, chocolate chess, fruit tart, lemon meringue, key lime, chicken pot pie, meat pie (pasties), pecan, and SO many more. (Kim is fatigued from trying to try each one!)(seriously). The pies were given Dolly Parton songs to describe them!

Thank you to Everyone, for those who donated pies and those who stopped by and bought pie!
We love our supportive community!
