Attention Families: TWKDMS students went home Tuesday with a Parent/Teacher Conference (PTC) handout.
Sign-ups will start ONLINE this Thursday, October 22, 2026, at 7:00 a.m. Parents/Guardians can use the information on the handout to get the link or type in this website: https://bit.ly/PTCTWKDMS. It will go live at 7:00 am on Thursday.
Conferences will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2026, from 3:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m., and Tuesday, November 10, 2026, from 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.
Conference appointments at TWKDMS must be scheduled in advance and will be booked by parents/guardians on a first-come, first-served basis. Only one appointment is allowed per teacher.
Once you get to the website, click the “SCHEDULE” link and then click on the teacher(s) you want to meet with, one at a time. This will bring you to each teacher’s calendar page. If no times appear, click “Jump to the next bookable date.” Click on the date and time that you want. Fill out the form that pops up, or email the teacher if no time slots remain. You will receive a confirmation email and reminder for each appointment you create. Keep track of your times! Repeat for other teachers. Call the school at 562-7552 if you need help signing up or to make changes.
Unlike elementary school, where each teacher has like 20 students, our middle school teachers typically have between 60 and 100 students. It is impossible for every parent to be guaranteed a conference with every teacher. So, we started using this first-come, first-served method a few years ago, and we have found that it is the fairest model we have tried. The early bird will get the worm! (And if you miss out, just email the staff; we'll work something out)
