Not every remote operates the same way. A basic on/off system — sometimes referred to as a "bang-bang" remote — starts or stops a function abruptly. The 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲 on 𝗝-𝗥'𝘀 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲's new rig gives the operator much more finesse.

The operator can ease into a load and progressively control movement, much like working the handles directly on the 𝗽𝘂𝗺𝗽 𝗵𝗼𝗶𝘀𝘁. That added precision is particularly useful when handling loads where smooth, controlled movement is preferable to an abrupt start or stop. As well, the remote's large buttons make it easy to use when wearing safety gloves.

𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗳𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗔𝗱𝗱𝘀 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆
The 𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗳𝗮𝗹𝗹 gives crews another useful tool for servicing wells. The sandline can be used for applications such as lowering and retrieving tools in the well, while the freefall capability allows the line to descend rapidly under controlled conditions.

𝗛𝘆𝗱𝗿𝗮𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗢𝗶𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗿 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗽𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝘆𝗱𝗿𝗮𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺
West Texas heat can be demanding on both crews and equipment. A 𝗵𝘆𝗱𝗿𝗮𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗼𝗶𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗿 helps manage hydraulic fluid temperatures during operation, particularly when the system is working for extended periods.

Keeping hydraulic oil within an appropriate operating temperature range helps maintain consistent hydraulic performance while reducing heat-related stress on components, seals and hydraulic fluid. Over the working life of a rig, protecting those systems can contribute to reliability and longevity.

With 𝗵𝘆𝗱𝗿𝗮𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗿, crews have access to the rig's hydraulic system at the back of the truck for operating compatible hydraulic tools and equipment.

That means another power source is already available where much of the work takes place. Instead of hauling additional equipment solely to provide hydraulic power, crews can make greater use of the equipment already built into their 𝗣𝘂𝗹𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿 𝗽𝘂𝗺𝗽 𝗵𝗼𝗶𝘀𝘁 while using that freed up space for other tools.

𝗗𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗔 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺
The 𝗱𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝗿𝘀 provide additional stabilization at the front of the truck when the 𝗽𝘂𝗺𝗽 𝗵𝗼𝗶𝘀𝘁 is set up for operation.

Water well contractors don't always have the luxury of working on a perfectly level concrete pad. Jobsites can include dirt, gravel and uneven terrain, making proper stabilization an important part of setting up the rig and creating a safer, more secure working environment.

Greater tower height can help crews work with longer sections and reduce unnecessary handling, giving contractors another way to improve productivity.

𝗟𝗶𝗳𝘁 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗽𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲
The 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝘁 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁 is designed to help raise and lower the mast through the first 18 inches off the frame of the 𝗽𝘂𝗺𝗽 𝗵𝗼𝗶𝘀𝘁. By assisting during this critical portion of mast movement, the system reduces stress on the hoist frame and helps extend the service life of the rig.

For equipment expected to work year after year, reducing unnecessary structural stress is an investment in the long-term durability of the 𝗽𝘂𝗺𝗽 𝗵𝗼𝗶𝘀𝘁 itself.

𝗟𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗝𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝘄𝘀 𝗔𝗱𝗮𝗽𝘁 𝗧𝗼 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗝𝗼𝗯𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲
The 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗷𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀 give crews additional reach when stabilizing and leveling the rig on varying terrain. That extra adjustment can make a significant difference when a well is located somewhere other than a flat, finished surface.

The 𝗣𝘂𝗹𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿 𝗧𝗨𝗦𝗨 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆 takes storage and jobsite organization a step further. TUSU stands for "The Ultimate Set Up," and one of its defining features is a set of 𝗵𝘆𝗱𝗿𝗮𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗽𝗶𝗽𝗲 𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀 that aren't permanently bolted into one position.

Having electrical power incorporated into the rig reduces dependence on outside power sources so you don't have to haul a separate portable generator, helping make the truck a more self-contained service platform.

𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆
One of the defining characteristics of the P10HD3L is its three-line configuration, giving 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝗲 𝗕𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 additional versatility for handling demanding well service work. Their new hoist includes a 𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗳𝗮𝗹𝗹, allowing crews to quickly lower tools or equipment down the well without having to power the line downward. That can reduce time spent on repetitive lowering operations and help crews move more efficiently through jobs where the sandline is frequently in use.

The hoist is also equipped with 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹 𝗮𝗱𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲, giving the operator the ability to control hoist functions remotely while adjusting how quickly the controls respond to input. This allows operators to select a response that better suits the task at hand while positioning themselves where they have a better view of the work. Better visibility and fewer unnecessary trips between the controls and work area can contribute to both jobsite safety and productivity. The remote's buttons are designed to be large enough to allow workers to wear gloves that protect the hands from accidents and cold weather.
