🚒 First Responder Friday 🚒

Today we’re recognizing someone who truly defines what it means to serve.

Meet Gary Farquhar Sr. — a volunteer firefighter with the Salisbury Fire Department who has dedicated an incredible 48 years to helping his community.

At 80 years old, Gary still answers the pager and shows up when his community needs him.

Gary also proudly served our country in the United States Army, answering the call to protect and serve both at home and beyond.

Nearly five decades of volunteer service, a lifetime of helping others, and a heart for his community — that’s what being a first responder is all about.

Thank you, for your dedication, your sacrifice, and for continuing to be there when people need you most. ❤️🇺🇸🚒
