Ripley County Collector's Office Our office is located in Doniphan, MO at the Ripley County Courthouse. We collect and distribute personal and real estate taxes for Ripley County.

The phone lines are down at the courthouse. Those wanting to make payment today will have to come to my office. This includes any tax sale payments. TODAY is the last day to accept payment! The tax sale is MONDAY!

The 3-year delinquent tax sale on real estate property will be August 24th. I encourage anyone with property on this list to pay ASAP. The list has been sent to the newspaper and will be published in the July 23rd, July 30th, & August 6th edition. Pay by 11:00 am Friday, July 17th and it will be removed from the newspaper list. However, mailing fees ($10.48) and newspaper fees ($52.00) will apply. Three-year delinquent property owners have been notified by first class mail (multiple times) and certified mail as final notice, unless it was unclaimed. If you have any questions, please contact my office at 573-996-4707. I do NOT want to sell these properties, so please make contact for payment. We will accept debit/card payments over the phone; a convenience fee will apply.

Schedule: Part‑time or Full‑time
Hours: 16–32 hours per week depending on availablitity and office needs. Pay is based on experience.

The Ripley County Collector’s Office is seeking a dependable, detail‑oriented individual to join our team. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with the public and can provide friendly, professional customer service in a busy office environment.

Key Responsibilities
Greet and assist the public with a positive, helpful attitude
Perform accurate data entry and maintain organized records
Balance a cash drawer and handle payments with attention to detail
Answer incoming phone calls and provide information to residents
Use Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) for daily tasks
Support general office operations and maintain an organized workspace

Qualifications
Strong customer service and communication skills
Basic to intermediate computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office
Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks
Accuracy and reliability when handling money and data
Professional, courteous demeanor when working with the public

We will be open Dec 29th, 30th and 31st. Please bring your statements when paying in the office.
