Military excellence is not limited to the mission alone. Military excellence is reflected in how our service members lead, on and off duty, and when the time comes to commit more of your time and service. Our command is represented by acts of military excellence every day.
Today, we recognized two members of our Color Guard whose actions continue to set that standard. Both members earned the Joint Service Achievement Medal for representing this command with professionalism and precision at high-visibility events across South Florida.
Certificates of Appreciation from the Broward County Public School JROTC program were also presented to 13 service members from our command for their role as judges at the Broward County JROTC Drill Competition, highlighting a commitment to mentorship and strengthening future leaders.
In addition, five of our own service members earned the German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge, with two achieving Gold. That accomplishment requires discipline, resilience, and a willingness to push past limits and comfort zones.
Our service members continue to raise their hands, take on additional responsibility, and represent this command with pride, all while ensuring we remain ready to fight and win. The Commander and I are incredibly proud of our team. Semper Fidelis.
