Good morning Everyone.
**** THIS IS A DRILL. THIS IS A DRILL. THIS IS A DRILL ****
Miami-Dade RACES has been activated to UM Health for Operation Tropic Thunder to restore Vital Communications after a total failure in their system was detected. A crew was activated and sent to the command center where we restored their system by providing a State Wide GMRS repeated radio channel to facilitate uninterrupted communications . A backup channel was created as well and is available if needed. Radios were programmed and deployed. RACES is now standing by for our next assignment !!
