He's become such a staple here that leagues specifically request him to work their events. That kind of reputation doesn't happen by accident. It's earned, one great interaction at a time.

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO: 2026 ARPA State Softball Tournament🥎

We have 6U-12U softball teams from ALL over the state this weekend to complete for state titles! If you are coming to the tournament, here are some important things to know before you come:
🥎 The top team on the bracket will occupy the first base dugout. The bottom team will occupy the third base dugout.
🥎 No gum, seeds, or shelled snacks.
🥎 No food in the dugouts.
🥎 Only 1 team cooler permitted. No additional coolers are allowed.
🥎 No pets are permitted.
🥎 No bicycles, scooters, skates, etc.

This past weekend, 52 athletes and 4 Unified Bocce Partners from our Therapeutic Recreation Program competed in the 2026 Alabama Special Olympics State Summer Games held at Troy University!

Athletes competed in Bocce, Bowling, Rhythmic Gymnastics, Swimming, and Track & Field. This past weekend was all about showcasing all the hard work, practice, and determination that all these wonderful athletes have worked so hardly on over the past year! It was truly a great weekend to celebrate and honor all these athletes!! One of our athletes even got to run out the torch for opening ceremonies!
