Dothan City Schools is bringing reading, learning, and summer fun directly into the community with the launch of the district’s brand new Backyard Summer Reading Program, the first program of its kind for DCS.

Behind every safe ride to and from school is a bus driver committed to our students! 🚌💙

Last week, Director of Dothan City Schools Transportation Dr. Erica Hall, Superintendent Dr. Garrick Askew, and DCS Chief Operations Officer Patrick Mallory recognized DCS bus drivers who completed the school year accident free. Each driver received a “Commitment to Safety” pin in recognition of their dedication to safely transporting our students each day.

Thank you to our transportation team for your continued commitment to student safety and for all that you do! 💙🐺
