PLC Math Success Target ✅ Thank you Math Specialist, Ms. Dawsey, for facilitating an impactful K-5 Hand2Mind PLC today with lesson modeling! This year, we are truly intentional in using our DIAGNOSTIC DATA to identify what each of our students NEED, grouping them by TARGETED skills, PLANNING systematic, explicit instruction with PRACTICE and timely ten to fifteen day assessment to MEASURE PROGRESS, and then USING the new evidence to regroup, teach, or extend learning. 📚✏️ Learning, Collaborating, and Preparing for ACAP!

Mrs. Hooten’s third graders were hard at work during CKLA Skills! Students worked in small groups to identify, decode, and write words with double consonants and the suffixes -ed and -ing, while strengthening their multisyllabic word skills.

Through teamwork and hands-on learning, students are building essential foundational reading skills that will help prepare them for success on the ACAP! 💪🏾📖
