🚒 Vehicle Extrication Training Recap 🚒

On Sunday, September 13th, members of our department spent the afternoon sharpening their skills in vehicle extrication. Our members trained on techniques for safely and efficiently removing patients from damaged vehicles — a critical skill set for responding to motor vehicle accidents in our response area.

Continued education and hands-on practice like this ensures our department is ready to respond when our community needs us most.

Stay safe out there! 🚗🔧

🚨 New Ambulance Now in Service! 🚨

Douglas Fire & Rescue is proud to announce that our brand-new ambulance was officially placed into service yesterday afternoon!

Before it hit the streets, we were honored to have ministers from our local Methodist and Catholic churches stop by to bless the ambulance. We’re grateful for their support and the continued partnership of our faith community.

Come see the new ambulance in person at the Douglas Car Show on September 12! We look forward to sharing it with everyone.

Thank you for your ongoing support of Douglas Fire & Rescue. Stay safe! 🚑❤️
