🧗‍♀️ NEXT WEEK They're Going Over the Edge for Dover Children's Home! 🧗‍♂️

Our incredible team of Over the Edge participants has worked hard to raise nearly $11,000 to support the mission of Dover Children's Home - and now it's our turn to support them!

Next Tuesday, five amazing DCH supporters will be taking a leap of courage as they rappel down 24 stories of the Brady Sullivan building in Manchester as part of Over the Edge, hosted by United Way of Greater Nashua.

🍎🥪 Food Donations Needed! 🥯🥗

Dover Children's Home is hosting a three-day TBRI (Trust-Based Relational Intervention®) training for community members, and we're looking for support with breakfast, lunch, snacks, and beverages for our attendees.

If you're able to provide food items for one of the training days, we'd be incredibly grateful! Each day's needs are designed to serve approximately 12 people.

Food Needs

Monday 6/22 (morning delivery) - Bag of apples, bag of clementines, bananas, 12-pack seltzer, 12-pack Diet Coke, 8-pack Gatorade, paper plates, small paper bowls, napkins

Monday 6/22 (evening delivery) - Muffins, berries, juice, store-bought chicken and egg salad with green salad, charcuterie board

Tuesday 6/23 (evening delivery) - Mini bagels, cream cheese, peanut butter, hard-boiled eggs, juice, burrito bowl fixings for lunch, veggie tray with ranch, pita, and hummus

Wednesday 6/24 (evening delivery) - Yogurt, granola, fruit, juice, sandwich fixings (bread, ham, turkey), chips, watermelon, cookies

We are so excited to share that, thanks to the generosity of 57 amazing donors, Dover Children's Home has raised $8,305 so far during NH Gives!

A huge thank you to everyone who has donated, shared our campaign, and cheered us on. We also want to extend our sincere gratitude to Shaheen & Gordon PA and Partners Bank for their incredible matching gifts that have helped boost donations and bring us closer to our goal.

But we're not done yet! We have just 6.5 hours left and are still working toward our $12,000 goal.

Your support helps provide summer activities, hobbies, life-enriching experiences, and independent living opportunities for youth in our care. From learning new skills to creating positive memories, these experiences help our young people build confidence and discover their strengths.

On behalf of Dover Children's Home, congratulations to the Dover High School Class of 2026, who graduated last night! We want to give a special shoutout to Connor Lazarz, President of the Dover High School National Honor Society. 🎓

For the past three years, Connor has been an integral part of the DHS NHS, and this year, as president, he led the group's meal donation efforts for Dover Children's Home. Throughout the year, Connor was incredibly professional, organized, communicative, and attentive to every detail. When he recognized an increased need within our program, he didn't hesitate to step up - expanding NHS meal donations from once a month to twice a month. 🥘🥦

This fall, Connor will attend Bates College, where he plans to study Political Science with minors in Philosophy and History. He'll also be competing as a member of both the track and football teams.

From all of us at Dover Children's Home: thank you, Connor, for your generosity, and dedication to serving others. We know your future is bright, and your kind heart and willingness to help those around you will take you far. Best of luck in this next chapter - we wish you the best! ✨
