Advanced Placement (AP) Exam Registration
If your student is taking an AP class at DHS or VLACS, now is the time to register for the AP exam. What you need to know:
Students must register for the exam through their MyAp Account (payment details below)
The fee is $99 payable by check made out to Dover High School and dropped off at the School Counseling Office
The deadline to register online and to submit payment is Friday, 10/25 in the DHS School Counseling Office.
Fee waivers are available for those who qualify

AP charges a $40 fee for any exam that is ordered but not taken (e.g. a student changes their mind).
Any exam that is ordered after the deadline will incur an additional $40 fee ($99+$40).

Granite Edvance Financial Aid Presentation for students (parents/guardians are invited to attend too) during the school day in the Gym (10am-11am): October 9th
ApplyNH: An initiative to help high school seniors navigate the college admissions process. During the school day, Oct. 25th. Signup in the Counseling Office.
ASVAB: October 18th, 2024 at 8am in room 115. Aptitude test and interest assessment administered by the military. Sign-up in the Counseling Office.

Early College Planning Presentation by Granite Edvance & DHS Counseling Dept.
The Granite Edvance (formally the NHHEAF Network) in conjunction with the DHS Counseling Department will be hosting a webinar to help students and families learn about the college application process.

Time: 6:30 p.m.
It is never too early to start to plan both academically and financially for a college education. During this presentation, we share the basics about what colleges are looking for, how financial aid works, college savings options and details about the impact of saving on student eligibility for financial aid. This presentation is recommended for parents/guardians and students in grades 9-11.
