👗 Calling all volunteers! 👗

Want to participate in our Revolutionary Trades Day? Would you like to take a step back in time and experience 18th-century fashion firsthand?
For our upcoming Trades Day at John Dickinson Plantation, we’re looking for two volunteers who would be willing to have an 18th-century-style gown draped on them as part of a demonstration of historic clothing.

This is a fun opportunity to experience how clothing was constructed and worn in the 18th century while helping visitors learn more about the material culture of the past.

No experience necessary, but appropriate stays and undergarments are a must!
Interested in volunteering? Contact Rachel, our Mantua-maker, today! [[email protected]]
