GDCC Community Events Manager Jed Allen is also a talented musician (drums, guitar) and performs with his band, Coyote Smoke. They are up for an exciting opportunity and can use your help!

Coyote Smoke has been selected as a top 15 Levitate Festival Songwriter of the year finalist, out of 845 talented bands/artists. They are the only New Hampshire-based band to be selected!

Please cast your vote for Coyote Smoke at the the link below to help get them into the top six finalists. The winner will not only perform at the Levitate Festival with headliner Alanis Morissette, they will also receive a $5000 grant to record their upcoming EP!

Due to construction delays, the reopening date for the Dover Public Library has been postponed to June 26th, 2026.

A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at 9am on Friday, June 26th—we hope you can join us!

The public is welcome to explore our new space during an Open House on Friday, June 26th from 9am to 5pm and Saturday, June 27th from 9am to 1pm.

The DPL will continue to be open in Room 306 of the McConnell Center on Mondays from 9am to 8:30pm and Wednesdays from 9am to 5pm through June 22. The following services are available in the McConnell Center:

📚 Our browse collection of books for all ages—what we have purchased in the last 6 months.
🫳 Patrons will be able to pick up books on hold, but will unfortunately only be able to place browse books on hold.
💻 We will have 4 computers for public use with printing capabilities.
📰 Magazines and newspapers.
🖼 All of our museum passes will be available for borrowing.
👥 Homebound delivery and our offsite All Abilities Club will continue.
📖 InterLibrary Loan services available to borrow books from other libraries.
