🇺🇸 Community Spotlight: VFW Post 1855

VFW Post 1855 is a wonderful example of what can happen when people work together for the good of their community.

The Post Commander has shown outstanding leadership by working alongside a local lumber company and dedicated community volunteers to complete much-needed improvements at the post. All the painting supplies were generously donated by US Lumber, a disabled-veteran-owned company that understands the importance of supporting those who have served our country.

A special thank-you goes to Bryan Smith, owner of US Lumber, for his service in the United States Navy and for continuing to serve his community. Bryan purchased Judd Lumber in 2019 and continues to honor Dick Judd by proudly carrying on the Judd Lumber legacy of service, generosity, and community involvement.

This project was about much more than paint and supplies it was about neighbors helping neighbors, veterans supporting veterans, and a community coming together with grateful hearts and willing hands.

Thank you to the Commander of VFW Post 1855, Bryan Smith, US Lumber, and every volunteer who donated their time and talents. This is what community looks like: helping one another, honoring our veterans, and making sure no one has to carry the load alone. 🇺🇸❤️👏
