Our team had a great time joining colleagues from across the state for thoughtful discussions and industry updates. It was especially meaningful to hear from leadership at the Illinois Department of Transportation on the progress of the Blueprint and the collaborative efforts shaping what's next for our state.

Metro Strategies Group is proud to receive a Silver Trumpet Award from the Publicity Club of Chicago in the Advocacy category for our effort supporting the Illinois Department of Transportation’s Blue-Ribbon Commission on Transportation Infrastructure Funding and Policy.

Our team helped facilitate a collaborative process that brought industry leaders and stakeholders together to address critical challenges facing Illinois’ transportation system and identify a path forward.

We are proud to see the Commission’s recommendations continue to make an impact and influence change through IDOT’s Blueprint initiative. Thank you to IDOT for trusting our team to support this important effort, and to the Publicity Club of Chicago for recognizing a project that is helping shape the future of transportation in Illinois!

Five years of making an IMPACT! Today marks five years of Metro Strategies Group, and we’re celebrating all that has been accomplished since our doors opened in 2021!

For the past five years, we’ve had the privilege of partnering with communities and organizations across the region to engage thousands of residents and stakeholders, secure funding and advance critical infrastructure projects. Thank you to our clients and partners who have trusted us to support their communities and tackle some of their most urgent priorities.

None of this would be possible without our outstanding staff! Your creativity, passion, collaboration and dedication are behind every grant application, graphic, public meeting, strategy and community conversation that have driven our projects forward.

Five years in, we’re incredibly proud of how far we’ve come and even more excited about where we’re headed. Stay tuned for more, our celebration is just getting started!

We are moving! As we approach our fifth anniversary, we are excited to mark another important milestone with a new office. Over the past five years, our team has grown, our services have expanded, and we have had the privilege of partnering with more communities and clients throughout the region.

We are excited for everything ahead and the next chapter of our story that starts in our new office space!

Drawing on her experience servicing and advising local and state officials in Minnesota, she helps agencies navigate complex challenges with confidence and build consensus. As we celebrate our nation's independence, we're also honored to recognize the beginning of America's 250th anniversary—a historic milestone that reflects our nation's journey, celebrates its progress and recognizes the communities that continue to shape its future. Metro Strategies Group wishes everyone a safe, joyful and memorable holiday!

Community engagement is more than hosting meetings, it’s about creating meaningful opportunities for people to connect, ask questions and help shape projects that impact their daily lives. Over the past few weeks, our staff has been doing just that.

From facilitating the Connect Franklin Park public meeting to meeting residents face-to-face at community pop-up events in Berwyn to share information about the City’s Lead Service Line Replacement Program, our staff continue to find creative ways to maximize stakeholder engagement.

Every conversation builds trust, every question strengthens a project and every community deserves a voice! We’re proud of our team for bringing energy, creativity and a people-first approach to every project we support.

Summer is in full swing and Metro Strategies Group is as busy as ever! Last week Rocco Zucchero joined Cook County Department of Transportation and Highways Superintendent Sis Killen for a fireside chat at Transport Chicago, where they discussed Cook County’s Next Long-Range Transportation Plan.

Meanwhile, Sarah Archer crossed the graduation stage at the ACEC Illinois Spring Board Meeting after completing the ACEC Executive Leadership Institute program. We are so incredibly proud of her for being a shining example of leadership and excellence in transportation!

The rest of the team has been hosting public meetings, developing grant applications, advancing infrastructure projects and creating dynamic designs that help communities thrive.
