A fresh start can change everything.
Criminal records can create barriers to housing, employment, and other opportunities that support stability. Events like Fresh Start help community members explore whether they may be eligible to seal their records and move forward with greater opportunity.
Our office was proud to participate by connecting community members to legal rights information and resources.

Our 3rd Annual Defend Your Rights event was held this past Saturday at Finnigan Community Center. We are incredibly grateful to our partners who showed up to serve the community.
This year’s event emphasized the importance of connecting people to services early, before challenges grow into legal issues.
From ID assistance to record sealing, housing support, access to employment, and more, these connections help open doors to stability and opportunity.
