⭐ ENDORSEMENT SPOTLIGHT ⭐

YOUNG VOICES. STRONGER FUTURE.

I’m honored to have the endorsement of Austin Community College Democrats (ACC Student Dems)!

Young people deserve a seat at the table, a voice in the decisions that shape their future, and leaders who take their concerns seriously.

I believe no voice is too small to be heard, and no young person should ever feel that their perspective doesn’t matter. Our students are not just the leaders of tomorrow — they are an important part of our communities today. As your candidate for Hays County Commissioner, Precinct 4, I’m committed to representing all voices, including the next generation, and helping pave the way for young people to participate, lead, and make a difference.

Thank you, ACC Student Dems, for believing in the power of civic engagement and young voices. The future is brighter when everyone has a seat at the table! ⭐

I’m a fighter for affordability, our water, and our kids’ future. As a real estate professional and small-business owner, I understand growth, land use, property rights and values, and the budgets families face. I won’t take developer campaign contributions. I answer to the people.

Community-first leadership. No compromises on our future.

💧 WHY AM I THE WATER CANDIDATE?

Because I cared about our water long before I ever became a candidate. I’ve stood before Commissioners Court, spoken out against irresponsible development threatening our sensitive recharge zones, and attended water district board meetings to better understand the challenges facing our communities. I’ve been here before. I’ve shown up before. And I’ve spoken up before. Not because water became a popular campaign talking point, but because I’ve understood for years what’s at stake. I’m glad more people are finally talking about water. We should all be talking about it. But there’s a difference between talking about an issue during election season and showing up for it long before your name was ever on a ballot.

Authenticity matters. Actions matter. And showing up matters.

Our water is not a political talking point. It’s our livelihood, our children’s future, and the very foundation of our Hill Country.

We cannot drink money. And our communities are not commodities.

Working families deserve a county government that puts them first. That means protecting our water, keeping taxes in check, fixing our roads, respecting property rights, and making sure our tax dollars are spent wisely. Hays County is our home, and the people who live here deserve a voice in its future. 💧⭐

COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP & ACCOUNTABILITY

We’re honored to have Mayor Bryan-Valdez, Mayor of the City of Hays, endorse Angie Unger for Hays County Commissioner, Precinct 4!

Lydia previously served on City Council and as Mayor Pro Tem, including service on the city’s budget committee. She has emphasized financial accountability, careful review of development, and protecting the Edwards Aquifer Recharge Zone and our drinking water.

Her support reflects the importance of asking hard questions, protecting our resources, and keeping residents at the center of local decisions.

Grassroots keeps it honest. 🌱

To me, grassroots isn’t a political buzzword. It’s a reminder of how this started and how I want to keep it.

Real people. Real conversations. Support given because someone believes in the work; not because they expect something in return. That matters to me. I want to stay connected to the people I’m asking to serve, grounded in the communities that make Hays County home, and always willing to listen; even when we don’t agree.

No strings attached. No expectations. Just people choosing to help.

⭐ ENDORSEMENT SPOTLIGHT ⭐

💧 CLEAN WATER. PROTECTING OUR FUTURE.

We’re honored to receive the endorsement of Clean Water Action!

Founded in 1972, Clean Water Action works to protect drinking water, public health, and the environment. In Texas, its priorities include protecting water at its source, preserving aquifer recharge zones, and conserving water for future generations.

Water isn’t just one issue in my campaign—it’s at the heart of why I’m running. Our aquifers, recharge zones, wells, and drinking water need protection, and growth must be considered alongside the water resources our communities depend on. I’m committed to bringing water-focused leadership to Commissioners Court, asking the hard questions, and making sure residents have a voice in decisions that affect our shared future.

Thank you, Clean Water Action, for your work to protect clean water and for your endorsement!

HOW WILL YOU SUPPORT OFFICER RECRUITMENT & RETENTION?

A badge doesn’t eliminate a mortgage payment.

It doesn’t make childcare cheaper.

And it doesn’t replace the years of experience we lose when a good officer decides they can build a better life somewhere else. Supporting public safety means more than saying “I support law enforcement.” It means doing the less glamorous work too: responsible budgets, competitive compensation, recruitment, retention, training, equipment—and making Hays County a place where good people want to build careers.

Public safety starts with people.

Recruit good people. Keep good people. Give them the tools to do the job well.

🇺🇸⭐️ REPUBLICANS FOR ANGIE!

I’m honored to receive the endorsement of Wade King, former Dripping Springs City Council Member, Place 2, who served our community for approximately 12 years. Wade has called Dripping Springs home for more than 25 years, and I’m grateful for his years of public service and his support.

I’ve always believed that water isn’t Republican or Democrat. Neither are our roads, our taxes, or the future of our Hill Country. We don’t have to agree on everything to work together. What matters is our willingness to listen, find common ground, and put the needs of our communities first. That’s the kind of leadership I believe in. Bringing people together, building bridges, and working across party lines to protect what we all call home.

Different parties. Shared priorities. One community. ❤️🤍💙

Thank you, Wade, for your endorsement and your commitment to our community!
