October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Dublin Fire Department is proud to stand with those currently fighting breast cancer, honor the survivors, and remember those we have lost.

This month, we’re adding a little pink to our patch as a reminder of the importance of awareness, early detection, support, and strength.

To everyone affected by breast cancer — you are not alone.

🚒 A GREAT EVENING AT THE PEARISBURG FIRE PARADE! 🚒

Dublin Fire Department would like to extend a sincere thank-you to the pearisburg_volunteer_fire_dept for inviting us to participate in this evening’s parade. We truly appreciate the hospitality, the great food, and the hard work that went into putting this event together!

It was a great evening of fellowship, showcasing apparatus, and celebrating the brotherhood and sisterhood of the fire service.

Company 2, Dublin Fire Department, was dispatched last night to assist Company 3, Fairlawn Fire Department, with a motor vehicle crash in Fairlawn’s first due area.

Rescue Engine 2 responded with a crew of five, along with Response 2 with a crew of five. Dublin units arrived on scene and assisted Company 3 with operations on scene.

After completing the assignment, Company 2 cleared the scene and returned to service.

On 08/27/26 at 0754 Company 2, Company 5, Company 10, Station 1 EMS was dispatched for a structure fire in our first due area. Upon arrival company 10, ES2 found a single level mobile home with fire involvement in the middle of the trailer. Upon entry Squad 10 made a quick knock down of the fire. Fire crews conducted salvage and overhaul. Fire units cleared around 0945.

At 10:30 p.m., Company 2, Dublin Fire Department, and Company 6, Pulaski Fire Department, were dispatched to the Robinson Tract area for a reported structure fire.

Tanker 2 responded with a crew of four, along with Assistant Chief 2.

After Assistant Chief 2 arrived on scene, Company 6 requested Dublin’s crew to assist with overhaul. Crews completed the assignment and all Dublin units cleared the scene and returned to service at 12:30 a.m.

At 0040 hours, 30 May, 2026, Company 2 (Dublin Fire), Company 5 (Newbern Fire), Medic 9-1 & Medic 9-5 were dispatched to the 200 block of Cleburne Blvd. in the truck parking lot for a MVC with entrapment.

Chief 2 arrived on scene and confirmed the report of entrapment with 2 occupants in the vehicle and established command. Rescue Engine 2 arrived to provide scene lighting, began stabilization and made patient contact. Rescue Engine 5 assisted with stabilization. Crews removed the front driver and passenger side doors for patient access and removal. Ladder 2 was used for scene protection on Cleburne Blvd. and the crew assisted with extrication and patient removal.

Two patients were transported a local medical facility by Pulaski County Public Safety with serious injuries. The accident is under investigation by Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office.

220
