🚨 ACRECC CALL VOLUME ON THE RISE 🚨

As the weather heats up, so does the call volume at the Alameda County Regional Emergency Communications Center (ACRECC).

In May, our dispatchers answered 12,490 emergency calls, and over the past couple of months, the regional dispatch center has seen an increase of nearly 2,000 additional calls.

Even with this surge in demand, our team continues to perform at an exceptionally high level, answering 97% of 911 calls within 15 seconds, exceeding the State standard.

This level of service doesn’t happen by accident.  It reflects the professionalism, focus, and dedication our dispatchers bring to every call, every day.

We are proud of the ACRECC team and the critical work they do to serve our communities 24/7. Great job!

This hands-on training places them in real-world scenarios where teamwork is essential, safely entering hazardous environments and working together to shut off the fuel source.

A special thank you to the Chevron Fire Department and Captain Jake Walsh for hosting this invaluable training.
