We were proud and grateful to have the opportunity to join our brothers and sisters from Perkasie Fire Company, along with Silverdale and Sellersville, for such a meaningful moment.

The fire service is about much more than answering alarms. It’s about brotherhood, friendship, service, and showing up for one another when it matters most.

It was truly an honor for members of Dublin Volunteer Fire Company to help recognize Joe “Hobe” Wainwright and his lifetime of service to others.

To Hobe, Kathy, and the entire Wainwright family — please know that your extended fire service family is thinking of you and standing with you in the days ahead.

Thank you to Perkasie Fire Company for giving us the opportunity to be a small part of such a special tribute. We were honored to answer this call. ❤️🚒

25 years later, we remember...

The tragedy & disbelief.
The courage & sacrifice.
The service & strength.
The brotherhood & unity.
Their Honor and our Freedom.

The promises we made…

… to remember the 2,977 lives lost including the 441 Fire, EMS and police who answered the call and never returned home.

…to honor the firefighters, police officers, EMS personnel, military members, and ordinary Americans who put the lives of others before their own.

…to remember what was attacked that morning and the generations of Americans who have served and sacrificed to protect it.

Twenty-five years have passed since September 11, 2001. The images may become more distant, and a generation has now grown up knowing that day only through the stories we tell.

That makes our promise even more important.

Remember the lives.
Remember the sacrifice.
Remember the unity.
Keep the promises.

Never Forget. 🇺🇸

⚡ Dwelling Fire – Bedminster Township 🔥

Last night, Engine 23 was dispatched to the 200 block of Pipers Inn Drive in Bedminster Township for a reported dwelling fire. The homeowner believed the residence had taken a direct lightning strike and reported smoke coming from the basement.

Upon arrival, Deputy 23confirmed a working basement fire that had extended to the first floor of the home. Crews from Engine 23, Tower 79, and Engine 20 went to work, extinguishing fire on both floors simultaneously.

The bulk of the fire was contained within approximately 15 minutes of Engine 23 arriving. We remained on scene for about two hours, extinguishing hot spots, ventilating smoke from the structure, and checking walls, ceilings, and other void spaces to ensure the fire had not extended into concealed areas.

We were assisted by Doylestown Fire Company No. 1, Plumsteadville Volunteer Fire Company, Silverdale Volunteer Fire Co. and Palisades Regional Fire Rescue. As always, we appreciate the quick response and teamwork from our mutual aid partners.

There were no reported injuries.

⚡ A quick reminder during thunderstorms: If you believe your home has been struck by lightning, smell smoke, or notice anything unusual following a strike, get everyone out of the house, stay outside, and call 911. Lightning can start fires inside walls, ceilings, attics, basements, and other concealed spaces where they may go unnoticed until the fire has grown.

When in doubt, get out and call 911. We would much rather come out and find nothing than arrive after a hidden fire has had time to spread.
