📬 Questions About a Recent Absentee Ballot Mailing?

Our office has been receiving quite a few phone calls about a mailing that was recently sent to voters regarding absentee voting for the November General Election.

‼This mailing did NOT come from the Dubuque County Elections Office. It was sent by the Center for Voter Information.‼ If you read the entire mailing, you will see that the Center for Voter Information is identified as the organization that sent it.

The mailing includes an absentee ballot request form. Here are a few things to know:

➡️ Already submitted your absentee ballot request form for the November General Election?
You do not need to send in this form. We have your request on file and will only send you one absentee ballot.

➡️ Wondering why you received it?
Because this mailing was not sent by our office, we do not have control over who received the mailing or who did not receive one.

➡️ Having trouble with the return envelope?
The envelope included with the mailing may require you to moisten the adhesive to seal it. If the adhesive is not working, you may simply use tape to seal the envelope.

We understand that receiving a mailing from an organization other than your county elections office can be confusing. We hope this information helps clear up some of the questions we have been receiving. 🗳️
