Volunteer with The Authentic Connection at the Bright Future event on Saturday!

Teamwork Makes Our Community Work! 🛠️

4 days to go! An event like Bright Future Fest doesn't happen by magic—it takes an incredible village of volunteers, local vendors, and passionate community members working hand-in-hand.

When we show up for each other, incredible things happen. Whether you’re stopping by as a guest to learn and play or lending a hand on our event crew, YOU are what makes our community thrive!

Want to jump in and be part of the crew making this event happen? We still have a few open volunteer slots for set-up and clean-up. Sign up here: https://www.volunteerdbq.com/need/?agency_id=157277

💚 WE NEED YOU!

Attitude of Gratitude is right around the corner, and we’re looking for volunteers to help make the night a success!

Our annual Attitude of Gratitude 2026 is October 24th, and it takes an amazing group of people behind the scenes to bring it all together!

We’re looking for helping hands with things like event set-up, registration, silent auction support, guest check in, helping throughout the evening, and clean-up.

Whether you’ve volunteered with Opening Doors before or this would be your first time, we’d LOVE to have you join us! Grab a friend, coworker, family member, or group and come spend the evening supporting women and children experiencing homelessness in our community. 💚

📅 Saturday, October 24th

Sign up to volunteer at The Rooted Table with Project Rooted

The Rooted Table is ONE WEEK AWAY, and we’re in the final push! This dinner takes a whole community to pull off, and we have a few important volunteer shifts that still need some love. ❤️

If you’ve been thinking, “I’d love to help with The Rooted Table,” this is your moment!

👩‍🍳 AUGUST 29 — FOOD PREP WITH THE CHEFS | STEEPLE SQUARE
We have two shifts available:
• 10:00 AM–1:30 PM
• 1:00–3:30 PM

Come work alongside our incredible chefs and help prep the food that will become part of this very special dinner. You’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to feed a whole table — and have some fun doing it!

🥕 AUGUST 29 — PRE-PREP | BOYS & GIRLS CLUB
We’ll be getting organized, prepping ingredients, and making sure everything is ready to go for Sunday. There is a LOT that happens before guests ever pull up a chair!

✨ AUGUST 30 — 2:00 PM SETUP | BOYS & GIRLS CLUB
THIS SHIFT CURRENTLY HAS ZERO VOLUNTEERS. 😳

Yep. Zero. Zilch. Nada.

And we need you! This is the shift where we transform the Boys & Girls Club into The Rooted Table — and getting every little detail ready before our guests arrive.

Bring a friend. Bring your family. Bring your best “let’s get this done” energy. 💪🌱
