A residential program for those with a drug/alcohol problem. We have men's and women's facilities. We provide residential care for ages 18 and over.

Our women's program is located in Dudley, GA and our men's program in Cochran, GA. We are a 12 month phase program, consisting of three phases. Additionally, we are a work program, which enables the residents to become responsible for themselves, and accept financial responsibility for time in the program. They have a safe environment to experience the realities of life, where they learn to process their daily struggles and prepare to return to society. Promise of Hope provides tools that help strengthen the resident's ability to build a personal relationship with Christ, handle cravings, and address personality conflicts in the personal relationships, work place, and in society at large. These tools include promises from God's Word, prayer, 12-step program guidance, and living and communication skills. Our Family Meetings are a very successful component of our program. Education is important in learning how to stop enabling the bad behavior. Most family members don't realize their actions are helping the self destructive lifestyle to continue. Statistics show when the family members get better, the addict or alcoholic gets better sooner. Attending Family Meetings helps understanding of the process of recovery to occur.

Tonight was such a special night as we gathered for our annual Volunteer Dinner! We had the honor of recognizing Denise Dobbins, our Women’s Facility Volunteer of the Year, and Jamie Shirley, our Men’s Facility Volunteer of the Year. Both are so deserving, and we are incredibly grateful for the time, love, and dedication they pour into Promise of Hope.
We also want to say a heartfelt THANK YOU to every volunteer, every board member, and every single person who gives their time, talents, and hearts to this ministry. Promise of Hope would not be what it is today without the people who stand beside us, believe in our mission, and continue to pour into the lives of others. Tonight was a reminder of just how blessed we are to have such an amazing team surrounding us. We are truly grateful for each and every one of you! ❤️

Goodbye Addiction....
I thought you were the answer to all of my problems. You numbed my pain, but in the process, you stole my identity. You took everything from me, my identity, integrity, the ability to be a mother, and left nothing but darkness. You used me, used my past, shame, and guilt to keep me in bo***ge. You made me believe I didn't deserve any better. You left a hold that not only affected me, but my family. I have learned that today I have a choice; you don't control me anymore. I am someone today. People love me and are proud of me. I recognize the potential that you tried to take from me, leaving me passed out on the bathroom floor. Today I can stand tall and say I am not that person anymore. I am worth more. This is a goodbye to you, and a hello to a new journey.
