Morley Heights Park
Morley Heights Neighborhood Association will be replacing the playground structure taken out by the city with a new one.
We also want to add infant swings, a couple of benches, and a marker with information about the historic neighborhood.
We'll begin spreading wood chips at 5pm on Wednesday, July 14th. Bring a rake and we'll finish up the park!

Photos of our volunteer playground installation on July 10th.
Phenomenal volunteers made today's assembly a huge success. We worked hard in the hot sun and put up some awesome equipment. In a few days, once the wood chips are down, we can get the kids on the gear! Many thanks!
We still need about ten more volunteers for Saturday's afternoon shift. If you can help assemble equipment from 1-5pm on July 10th, let us know ASAP!
On Saturday, July 10th, our equipment will be delivered and we will need plenty of volunteers to help us assemble it.
If you want to help out, please email [email protected] and indicate your availability for that weekend.
More details are coming, but we wanted to get this date on your calendars.
Many thanks for your interest and help!
Thanks to the city of Duluth, we now have several fully grown spruce trees planted in the park! Also, the city matching grant has been approved by the Parks and Recreation department and has now moved to the City Council. Stay tuned for more news!
