It’s our birthday! On August 4th the coast guard celebrates coast guard day. Whether it's sharing sea stories, attending community events honoring the Coast Guard, or simply spending time together enjoying activities like co****le tournaments or bounce houses, celebrating this day with family and friends can create lasting memories and strengthen bonds. It's a time to reflect on the importance of unity, support, and appreciation for our shipmates.

The P-6 pump is a critical piece of equipment used for dewatering and firefighting operations at USCG Station Duluth. Training on the proper use of the P-6 pump is essential for newly reported personnel to ensure they can effectively respond to emergencies and protect lives and property. Understanding the capabilities and limitations of the pump, as well as proper maintenance and troubleshooting procedures, is crucial for successful operations.

It’s officially transfer season, which means we have to unfortunately start saying goodbye to some crew members. MK1 Powell served at STA Duluth from July 2020 to May 2024. He has been a great member in our engineering department and has provided tons of morale for the crew. His next stop is Hobucken, NC where he will serve as the Engineering Petty Officer at STA Hobucken!
Bravo Zulu MK1 and thank you for being a great shipmate to everyone!
