Happy Earth Day! Today’s Earth Week activity is Urban Farm Tours at the Eco3 farm. Our last tour will take off at 11:30 a.m. Stop by to see the farm on Lake Superior College’s campus!

Wonderful to have folks at Ivy Vainio's art receptions on Thursday, March 19. Thank you for attending! If you didn't have a chance to visit, you can see the retrospective exhibit through mid-August! We're open 8-5 Monday-Thursday and 8-4 on Friday generally. Call us before you visit at 218-733-5912.

THIS THURSDAY-March 19: I’ll have two artist receptions at Erickson Library.
> noon - 1 pm for LSC Staff, students, alumni and community
> 5 pm - 7 pm
Both times are open to anyone who can make it. The library will have light refreshments for the first reception. At 5 pm: Aarne and I will have fresh baked goodies from and coffee. John Ward/Lori Hatten/ .tahtinen will be our musical guests. There will be an artist talk at 5:30, gift giveaway at 6 pm, and we will be handing out free “War Cry” event posters created by while they last. I’ll have several photographs (canvas, on metal, and prints) and one Vainio Blanket available for purchase.
