From June 14 through June 21, our community will come together to honor history, celebrate culture, recognize our elders, support local artists and vendors, and gather with family and friends throughout Juneteenth week.

📍 June 19 - VEMA Juneteenth Celebration (Virginia)
📍 June 19 - Duluth NAACP Juneteenth Celebration
📍 June 20 - Juneteenth Concert in Central Hillside Park
📍 June 21 - Father's Day Gospel Brunch

Whether you're attending one event or all of them, we encourage everyone to come out, support one another, learn, celebrate, and enjoy a full week of community activities.

Family Freedom Center is proud to support and promote all Juneteenth events taking place across our region. We look forward to seeing our community show up strong throughout the week.

A special thank you to Boreal Waters Foundation and the Unity Fund for supporting many of these events and helping make this week possible. Their investment helps bring people together across the Twin Ports and Iron Range to honor Juneteenth and celebrate the strength, history, and contributions of the Black community.
