This week, PAVSA hosted a Clinical Skills Lab for Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners (SANEs) at The College of St. Scholastica

Over the course of two days, 18 SANEs gained hands-on practice facilitating medical forensic examinations. We are proud to have hosted a training like this in Northern Minnesota, supporting not only our team of nurses but other SANEs in our surrounding region. 💙

This lab was made possible with financial support from Minnesota Coalition Against Sexual Assault and facilitation from The Hennepin Assault Response Team - HART!

🚧🚨 We're extending the date! 🚨🚧

Construction began on October 14th to resurface the Building for Women plaza. This construction is an important step to improve accessibility to the building and prevent any additional water damage to its structure.

Due to the disruptive nature of the construction we will not offer walk-in services or schedule appointments at the Building for Women this week.

We will continue our 24/7 helpline and hospital response. Advocates will continue to meet with survivors at partner agencies, at the courthouse, in other community spaces, and virtually. Stay tuned for more updates!
