‼️Stephens County Residents‼️

Per 68 O.S. § 2821, our field deputies will be working in the areas mapped below this week.

With thousands of parcels to review within a required timeframe, we are unable to schedule individual appointments for property inspections. We appreciate your understanding as our field team works to complete these inspections efficiently and in accordance with Oklahoma law.

Here are a few things you can expect when our field appraisers are in your area:

Yellow shirts: Our field appraisers will always be wearing yellow shirts identifying them as members of the Assessor’s Office.

Marked vehicles: Our vehicles are permanently marked with the Assessor’s Office identification.

Identification: Field appraisers have official badges available upon request.

Door hangers: If we are unable to make contact with you, we will leave a door hanger letting you know we were at your property.

No entry into homes: Our field appraisers do not enter residential structures.

Our goal is to make this process as transparent and straightforward as possible while fulfilling our responsibilities under Oklahoma law.

One of the best things about working in a small town is the people you meet along the way. ❤️

Today, one of our sweet Stephens County taxpayers had a little girl who wanted to make sure our field deputies didn’t leave without trying one of her homemade oatmeal cream pies. 🥰🍪

It may seem like a small gesture, but those little acts of kindness mean so much to our team. Our field deputies spend their days driving from property to property, and getting to meet wonderful families like this is one of the sweetest parts of the job.

Thank you for the homemade treats and for reminding us why we love serving the people of Stephens County! ❤️💙

What a successful county fair!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, visited with us & asked questions! We truly enjoyed getting to see so many familiar faces and meet new ones. ❤️
