Need to know more about computers or technology? The Duncanville Public Library can help get you started! Need one-on-one help? Try a drop-in session with a Tech Tutor on Wednesdays at 7 PM.

We also offer Office Hours service (drop-in or by appointment) on Mondays and Tuesdays from 2 - 5 PM. Make an Office Hours appointment in person or call 972-780-4956.

Looking for things to do during Fall Break? Come to the Duncanville Public Library! We start the week off with a special edition Lego Movie Maniacs program at 2:30 PM. Watch the movie AND build with Legos!

Other programs during the week include a nocturnal animal show, a teen Mario Cart tournament, the ARCO Bookmobile with bilingual storytimes and free books, and the art of the mixtape with the Dallas Museum of Art!

The Duncanville Public Library provides a range of programs for all ages. Tech Tutors is a popular long-running weekly program on Wednesdays at 7 PM, providing one-on-one assistance with tech questions.

We're excited to launch a new monthly program on Monday, October 12 (5 - 7 PM) with the Workforce Solutions Greater Dallas HireAbility Resource Table! Stop by to speak with a person from Workforce Solutions Greater Dallas. Learn about free workforce, career, and transition resources for young people aged 14 - 24 with disabilities and their families.

Duncanville Public Library offers three storytime programs for children and their caregivers every week! Join us every Thursday for Preschool Storytime at 10:15 AM or Toddler Storytime at 11:15 AM. For the smallest (0 - 3 years old), we feature a baby storytime with the delightful Baby Bookworms on Tuesdays at 10:15 AM!

Come to the Duncanville Public Library on Saturday, October 10 (2 - 4 PM) for a new workshop about poetry broadsides taught by inaugural Duncanville Poet Laureate, Logen Cure!

This workshop is ideal for those aged 6 - 18 but is open to all ages. A broadside is like a poetry poster featuring words and visual art. Participants will have the option to write their own poem or to create a broadside celebrating a poem written by another writer. Generative writing exercises will be included for those who would like to write their own poem. All materials will be provided. The final products will be beautiful pieces of poetry and art ready for display!
