The shop is coming together nicely. I can't wait until the official move in day. There is still a long list of items to complete before we can actually move in.

Baltimore Marine Safety is still working on services while the process is still ongoing. If you require your vessel or commerical facility to be inspected, please do not hesitate to contact us.

🔧 EXPANDING OUR CAPABILITIES AT BALTIMORE MARINE SAFETY!

We’re excited to share another investment in the continued growth of Baltimore Marine Safety — our new hydrotest pit is going in!

This addition will help us expand our in-house hydrostatic testing capabilities, increase efficiency, and better serve our customers while keeping more of the testing process under our direct control.

As BMS continues to grow, we remain committed to investing in the equipment, training, and infrastructure needed to provide dependable service to the marine and fire protection industries.

Our goal is simple: more capabilities, faster turnaround, and better service for our customers.

From FFE and LSA inspections to cylinder testing, refilling, calibration, and marine safety services, we’re continuing to build BMS into a one-stop service provider our customers can depend on.

EEBDs ARE EMERGENCY EQUIPMENT — MAKE SURE THEY’RE READY WHEN NEEDED

Emergency Escape Breathing Devices (EEBDs) are designed for one critical purpose: to provide breathable air during an emergency escape from a smoke-filled or hazardous atmosphere.*

But having an EEBD onboard isn't enough. It must be properly inspected, maintained, and in serviceable condition.

A thorough EEBD inspection can identify:

* Damaged or deteriorated components
* Broken or missing seals
* Expired units
* Damaged hoods or breathing hoses
* Low or improper cylinder pressure
* Corrosion or physical damage
* Units that may no longer be safe or reliable for emergency use

An EEBD may sit untouched for years, but when an emergency happens, your crew needs it to work immediately.

Don't allow a quick visual check to give you a false sense of security. Proper inspections help ensure your vessel's emergency equipment is ready to perform when someone's life may depend on it.

Baltimore Marine Safety provides thorough inspections and service of marine Fire-Fighting Equipment (FFE) and Life-Saving Appliances (LSA).

🔥 Don't just have safety equipment onboard. Make sure it's ready to save a life.

Contact Baltimore Marine Safety today to schedule an inspection of your vessel's EEBDs and other safety equipment.
