Last night, 10 members of the Dunellen Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) completed the CERT Traffic & Crowd Management Course under the direction of Eric Martin from Middlesex County OEM.

The hands-on training gave our members practical experience in traffic control, pedestrian and crowd management, scene safety, and the proper use of traffic-control equipment and road flares.

Training like this strengthens our team’s ability to safely support Dunellen’s Police, Fire, EMS, and OEM during community events, emergencies, and other incidents where traffic or crowd control may be needed.

A big thank you to Eric for another great training and to our CERT members for continuing to build the skills needed to serve our community!
