The Dunmore Cemetery Tour The Dearly Departed Players present The Dunmore Cemetery Tour -- where the present - meets the past! Cemetery Gates 400 Church St. Dunmore, Pa. Admission is free.

The Dunmore Cemetery Tour is a wonderful walk through our history. Costumed interpreters tell stories of our past in vignettes along the tour route -- join us as we stroll through the past and visit with those who helped make our heritage. The tours take place the first two Sundays in October at 2:00 p.m. Private tours are available by contacting Julie Esty at 344-3819.

The Dearly Departed would like to extend a very sincere thank you to everyone who helped us along the way and everyone who joined us on the tour and on Facebook this tour season. Sorry the weather didn't hold for yesterday -------- but - we will be back next year with an all new tour. Until then, if you are interested in a private tour, The Civil War Lady or Julie's publications feel free to message ---------- the Widows will be out and about next month exhibiting. You can also reach them here. We're around so - so stay tuned.

We are so sorry to have had to cancel this year. The rain did not let up in time and going through the cemetery -- it would have been a safety factor. BUT -------- on the bright side -- twenty seven years and only rain day is a pretty good run. We will look forward to next year when we start a new streak of twenty seven years!!!!

As of right now - Friday evening, the tour is still a go. Will see what the weather looks like on Sunday. If the weather is bad with rain we will not perform. But, until we see how it is on Sunday - it's still on. If it is called off we will post it on this page. Hoping for good weather! There is no rain date --- the tours are the first two Sundays in October. If we don't make it this year - yeah -- we'll be bummed but - we'll see you next year!!!!!!!!!!!!!
