As the National EMS Week winds down, we remember that it is a time to recognize and appreciate the invaluable contributions of Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), Advanced EMTs, and Paramedics who respond to 911 calls every day, often during the most challenging moments for individuals.

These dedicated professionals work as a cohesive team, from the medics who make calls and provide immediate care to the front office staff who ensure the availability of supplies and administrative tasks. Our Board of Directors, mechanics, and technicians play a crucial role in maintaining the functionality of the ambulances. Each member of this team plays a vital role in enabling EMS to respond promptly and effectively.

Their professionalism, extensive training, unwavering commitment, hard work, and dedication to our community and its people are the driving forces behind saving lives and providing the highest quality of care to the people of Bryan County. Our medics are truly exceptional, and I am immensely proud of them and their achievements.

I extend my gratitude to everyone at BCEMS and our vendors for their continuous efforts in enhancing the services provided to our citizens. Their dedication ensures that our community receives the care and support it deserves.

A special thank you goes to our families for their sacrifices. Despite the long hours and demanding shifts, they diligently manage household responsibilities, often at the expense of personal time. Their unwavering support and understanding are truly appreciated.

Together, we are all committed to โ€œImproving Outcomes, together.โ€

Thank you for your dedication in everything you do.

2026 has been a rough on the crews.
We will always miss Mindi but we will never forget Mindi:
โ€œNever above you, never below you, always beside you, partners for foreverโ€
