Durham County Employee Appreciation Week 2026 is here and we are recognizing the dedicated employees who serve our residents, support our community, and make a difference every day.

The celebration began with Bright Color Day and DCo Jeopardy, displaying individuality and teamwork on this first day of Employee Appreciation Week.

Tomorrow's Breast Cancer Awareness Walk will provide an opportunity to honor the strength and resilience of employees impacted by breast cancer and recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Throughout the week, employees will have opportunities to connect, learn, and celebrate through a variety of activities focused on appreciation, well-being, and professional development.

We will return at the end of the week with a recap of the festivities and photos highlighting our celebration of the people behind the work that keeps Durham County moving forward.
