LIBRARY SERVICES
At the Sullivan County Library, there are a variety of materials available for check-out: books, audiobooks, DVDs, and magazines. We have computers available for public use, as well as wireless Internet throughout the library. Based on the response to last year's Alzheimers and dementia workshops, we have reached out to Penn State Extension to offer more in-depth informational sessions. These workshops are intended for those offering care to people with dementia. It is often difficult for caregivers to attend a workshop because of their caregiving responsibilities; because of this, we will offer a concurrent activity for adults who might need supervision. We will provide snacks and a hands-on activity. Please pass the word if you know someone who could benefit from this training. It is necessary to call the Sullivan County Library to register.
