Please join us in welcoming Officer LeClair to our department!

A Washington State native, he brings valuable experience from his law enforcement work in California and has recently returned closer to home. Officer LeClair has completed his field training and is now ready for solo patrol. His dedication and professionalism have already made a strong impact, and we’re grateful to have him on our team.

Welcome aboard, Officer LeClair—we’re glad you’re here!

Happy First Day of Fall!

Leaves are falling, it’s getting darker earlier, and the cold is arriving. With the changing seasons, there are a few important autumn safety tips to keep in mind:

▪ Wear reflective clothing while outdoors in low-light conditions.
▪ Headlights on, more space to stop — foggy, dark commutes are here.
▪ Slow down on wet or leaf covered roads
▪ Light up porches and walkways
▪ Lock your vehicle and park in a safe location.

And yes… pumpkin spice season is here — don’t get latte-ly distracted!

Meet Officer Leznek, one of our night‑shift stars! Almost two years with us after joining from a larger agency, he brings a steady, positive, always‑there‑for‑the‑team attitude every single day.

He is a Fi****ms, Taser, and 40MM instructor, and soon he’ll be stepping into the role of Field Training Officer. He really enjoys the training opportunities he gets and all the specialized equipment he gets to use.

Off duty, you’ll find him out hiking, fishing or tearing up the slopes on his snowboard. We had to seize the rare chance to catch him on day shift for a quick photo!

We’re grateful to have him on our team!

Today, we pause to remember one of the most defining and difficult days in our nation’s history. On September 11, 2001, the world changed forever. We honor the lives lost and the families, friends, and communities forever changed that day. We also recognize the extraordinary courage of first responders, the quiet strength of survivors, and the compassion shown by countless individuals in the days and years that followed.

In reflecting on 9/11, we carry forward a promise—to never forget. We hold onto the memory of those who were taken too soon and the resilience that rose from tragedy.

May this day remind us of the importance of unity, kindness, and the enduring spirit that continues to guide us.
